ShopUP - Multivendor eCommerce Platform
ShopUp is a multi-vendor eCommerce platform, established to help small Facebook shop owners. ShopUP was created as a shop management tool inside Facebook pages. At that point (2015), Facebook didn’t have any dedicated shop features of its own. ShopUP partnered with Facebook and recently, ShopUp got funded by Sequoia Capital.
Objectives of the Project
Initially, to check out the market ShopUp released multiple MVP versions. Later, they released ShopUp following the UI scheme of Facebook. So that, people get a feeling that they are inside Facebook. As most of the target audience were comfortable using Facebook than traditional inventory management system.
My Contributions
I worked on the MVP Versions as well as the main version as one of the interface designers.
